Krabi is the main town on the west coast of Southern Thailand and this place is one of the hidden jewels of Thailand. It is like paradise on earth- pristine backwaters, sand, exotic sea life and phenomenal limestone cliffs, the view here is breathtaking! Krabi is less popular, therefore less crowd than main Phuket and Bangkok, which makes it a perfect vacation spot. You can spend the best three days of your life here, check out the list!


When you arrive in Krabi, check with the hotels on the waterfront, the view is spectacular from here. Never miss the sunrise and the sunsets, the beach and the sky look phenomenal at the dawn.


The first thing to do in Krabi, is to sit back and relax, far way from bustling towns and pollution, enjoy the waves here. Railay Beach, Ao Nang beach and Phi Phi Island are the best beaches of Krabi, with long stretches of golden sand and crystal clear water. You can simply enjoy this place, with your partner or your family.

The Railay and Phra Nang beaches are located in the same area, so always take walk to reach the other beach. You can obviously enjoy the view and explore some of the very beautiful caves (Thailand is famous for its caves).

Thai cuisine is world famous and it is absolutely delicious. All the beaches have amazing restaurants and some even have long tail boats where the locals cook for you, the taste is just superb. Go for traditional Thai food on the streets of the Ao Nang market, here you get the most delectable seafood, not only seafood, you can also get amazing vegetarian stuff here, like fried noodles, papaya salad and sweet milky Thai desserts.

Scuba diving is one of the greatest tourist attractions of Krabi and not only diving, they offer you snorkeling, rock climbing and Kayaking. Kayaking is considered one of the best ways to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Krabi, so never forget to book your Kayaking tour. When it comes to scuba diving, Krabi has an exotic sea life with soft sea corals and a wide variety of aquatic animals.

The limestone rocks attract thousands of climbers from around the globe. With over 700 routes, and breathtaking beauty rock climbing is definitely on the list of solo travelers, groups and even families with kids.

Krabi’s only national park Khao Pencha National Park, is a picture perfect place, with a wide variety of flora and fauna. You can take a safari to explore this amazing national park.

Streets of Krabi are not as vast as Bangkok in shopping terms, but they sell some of the best beach wear, handicrafts, traditional paintings and lot more. The night market of Chao Fah is one of the beautiful markets and the Krabi walking street market is also very famous. So, don’t forget to visit them!

Beaches are not only about building sand castles, Krabi has a lot more to offer for your tiny tots. Apart from the adventurous sports, the kids can go to the outdoor aquarium in Ao Nam Mao, here you can see a wide variety of animals like sharks, turtles, seabirds and fishes. Elephants are the national symbol of Thailand, there are many elephant camps in Krabi, where you can take a ride with them and even give them a bath in the river!
